Waiting List
You can contact us to be put on our waiting list. Perspective buyers will be written down in the order that they contacted us, and based off of what you are searching for (ie; doe or buck, certain dam, polled, etc.) Once the kids are born, we will contact buyers according to the waiting list and they will have 24hrs to put down a deposit, or forfeit their spot in line.
Sales
A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required to hold your kid(s) until weaning. Reserved kids must be picked up by 10 weeks of age, or agreed upon date. If buyer fails to pick up by agreed date, or fails to contact the seller, the kid(s) will be eligible for sale again, and all deposits will be retained. Remaining balance will be due at pickup in the form of cash or PayPal. All animals must be paid in full before leaving the farm. Deposit may be paid by check or PayPal. In the event that something should happen to your kid(s) after reservation while still on the farm, or they for any reason are unable to be sold, the deposit will be refunded, or applied to another available goat if requested.
Buyer is responsible for transportation and any fees involved in the case of third party shippers.
Weaning/Health
All babies will be dam raised and weaned at 8-10 weeks, unless intervention is required in the case of a doe rejecting or being unable to care for all babies. We have pulled bottle babies in the past, and while they have been fine, we found it caused unnecessary stress on the mother. In the case that we do have a bottle baby for sale, we will keep it the first week of life to ensure it's acting and eating well. Buyer will be responsible for any booster shots needed after sale. Bottle babies will have the same pricing as any other kid.
All kids will be *disbudded, given appropriate shots, and dewormed if needed prior to leaving. We do not believe in the method of preventative deworming, and only deworm if needed. All animals are guaranteed healthy when sold, we are not responsible for any health issues that occur after leaving the farm. Moving is stressful, and stress can cause sickness and increased parasite load.
Goats sold as registered will come with the appropriate paperwork to register them and/or transfer their current registration.
*All registered kids will be disbudded if not polled, unless requested and full asking price is paid before the kid(s) vet appointment. The full payment will be nonrefundable should the buyer back out. If full payment is not made before the kid(s) appointment, they will be disbudded despite any request. This is because it can be harder for us to rehome horned goats, especially does.
